Apparently designer goods and branding is a hindrance to finding new friends. But if you don’t want to give up those fancy bags and watches perhaps a clip on hologram projector could hide your branded items from your future friends.
Do want friends who show off their wealth with expensive branded items or are you drawn to people who are less flashy?
On the other hand, would you feel more confident carrying a designer bag when meeting new people (even if they couldn’t tell)?

It might be nice to get cash for browsing your fave online platforms… but would the lure of a few extra bucks ruin niche online businesses and websites?

The online data people generate is very valuable, so shouldn’t individuals benefit from that? Perhaps in the form of a dividend, or by making companies pay to access information about you. Combined with algorithms (that are said to be less biased than humans), perhaps a new approach to data use could lead to a whole new recruitment experience where the prospective employee has a little more power…
