A little story about what our future interactions with friends and phones might look like. What do you think?

Apparently keeping and wearing your clothes until they wear out is the most environmentally way to approach getting dressed… but what if you have a fluctuating body that means that your clothes don’t always fit? Maybe an app that helps people improve their body confidence could also connect users who have changed size but want to keep the same items in their wardrobes. Then you could keep the same styles in rotation without having to buy new items!
Unfortunately it wouldn’t work so well for one of a kind pieces 🙁

Perhaps being connected with someone who had the same measurements and body type as you, but has a much more positive attitude towards themselves could help people develop their own body confidence.
What do you think?

Phones collect all sorts of data, what if we had robotic phone ‘pets’ that could tell when you were feeling down on yourself and had different ways to comfort you? Would you prefer to pat your cuddly robot buddy or would you want them to find you someone who was feeling the same to connect with?

Could domestic robotics cause a plague of feral pets? Is this how organisations and communities will deal with massive populations of wild cats, dogs and guinea pigs?

Would you fall in love with an adorable robotic phone, or just find it to be an annoying gimmick? At the moment malfunctions and mistakes your phone makes are frustrating and sometimes rage inducing, would those glitches be more forgivable if your phone could look up lovingly at you?
More on the possible future that could evolve around popular robotic phones coming soon.

What would adaptable implants mean for your success at work? We’re used to seeing people, particularly women, getting implants and cosmetic procedures so that they can succeed in certain glamour industries, but what if they were adopted for use in other occupations?
Would you get dynamic robotic cosmetic implants to help you be more convincing, appear more charming or seem more trustworthy?

Choose your own adventure… is this the future of dating and data mining? More coming soon.

In 2035, air pollution is expected to be the leading environmental cause of death in humans. Innovations for preventing the health impacts of pollution might be created, but they are unlikely to be accessible for everyone.
What other issues might arise in this future, where pollution has put a major strain on our health and our medical industry?

Robots that are just as manipulative, emotional, impulsive and stubborn as people might not be so useful for helping us to get things done in our daily life… but it seems that making a robot that is convincingly human-like is a challenge too irresistible for some people to pass up. It could even be argued that artificial intelligence is already showing some human traits; obscuring certain information on online platforms to push particular agendas, learning to lie and self-evolving to suit different situations.
What do you think? Should roboticists and AI developers try to recreate human intelligence and behaviours or should robots and computer interfaces behave in different ways?
