If countries become more insular and stop engaging in international trade, how will they continue to make enough money to service the needs and expectations of their populations? Maybe some governments will turn to some unpleasant and intrusive methods for obtaining extra funds.

Driving isn’t a right, but could a driving surveillance system be used to target certain people to get them off the roads? Or maybe it could be used hit ‘bad’ drivers with huge insurance fees? Is that fair, or should people be allowed the occasional driving hiccup without it being held against them?

Could this system be more trouble than it’s worth? Such technology could help people avoid volatile individuals, but it could also be used as a tool for people searching for a fight.
And could tech that can ‘read your feelings’ and let people know that you could be trouble, really know the context of your bad mood? Wouldn’t it be terrible to be publicly labelled a trouble maker just because you were having one off day? That’s like being refused an opportunity because of a tweet you made when you were drunk eight years ago!
What do you think, are advanced surveillance systems useful or dangerous?
